(More customer reviews)The system is really simple and convenient to install and even tho I just purchased it, I'm quite concerned about the collar design. After hooking up the system, they tell you to walk the perimeter w/ collar in hand to check the signal continuity for breaks and field width. I checked it multiple times with wire above ground and could not get the same reading as the walk before. I was getting a reading but the distance from the fencing seems to fluctuate. After multiple attempts, I trained the dog with plastic contacts on the collar and then metal contacts in place. First time around she did fine but on second time around in the exact spot she was zapped. The collar and the test light furnished to check the fence are in my opinion substandard. I'm having trouble finding any more reviews on the system, tho there are plenty on the new collar, many of which I wish I had read prior to purchasing this system. You see the collar is a key player in this thing keeping my lab out of harm's way so if it falls off or malfunctions the total system is useless. Will keep updating after using and HOPEFULLY all goes well.
