- Strong and tough
- Easy to adjust
- Good humane control of the dog
- As with all Martingale collars, the dog can't slip out of it if it's properly adjusted.
Cons:
- Stiffness of the material that hasn't softened in over six months.
- Strangely, it stinks more than other collars we've used, and the stink doesn't easily wash out. Doubly strange, our dog isn't stinky. He naturally has a nutmeg aroma.

My one complaint is that the excess length would stick straight out but i tamed it with some cleverly placed silly bands and now I would say it looks quite fetching.

If your dog is extra strong, as if mine, they can pull this collar out, once it is set. It is very attractive, however. The material is a bit on the slippery side for my taste. Thanks very much. My pit will look like a total demon in this. man i tell u, this collar is a jaw dropper, it looks great, just looking at it i feel intimidated, imagine when its one my pit. a friend of mine saw it fresh out the package and she too was blown away. i got it on time, the leather seems good, kinda not flexible tho, cant really comment on that rite now as i have just received the product. i'll update this a few weeks later. but from the onset, value for money. if u want some attention for ur dog, want him or her to loof tough, this is the collar for you. will comment on the quality after a little wear and tear.

He really likes to run off and ignore us, but after a couple vibrates then a shock now all we need to use is vibrate and he comes back. I would not spend hundreds of dollars on a training collar when these work great and are so much cheaper!

We were able to make it small enough to fit Hunter now (at 45 lbs), and later (at 90 lbs) :) Hunter knows that when the harness comes out, its time for a walk and he gets very excited. One note, I have yet to use the collar. If you purchase the harness, I doubt you would need both.

The metal buckle is very nice. I didnt want a cheap plastic one that could break. The material is a little thin, but its not that big a deal. The dogs seem to enjoy wearing them. The stiching is large and readable. Good price. Got the collars in less than a week.

(More customer reviews)I really like the color scheme, and it's the perfect size for my dog. Shes about 40lb and it is exactly the thickness and width I was looking for. It seems to be very sturdy and well made, except for one thing. I noticed recently that she somehow scraped it or something? And the color has worn off, leaving white marks across it. It's not terribly noticeable, but now that I've seen it, I can't stop focusing on it. These marks appeared within 2 weeks of her first wearing it, and she's never done this to any other collars. I am not 100% sure if she even caused these marks or if this is a defect, but they weren't there when I first put it on her. Anyway, I'll probably never know where they came from. Overall, would recommend.

(More customer reviews)I bought the 18-24 inch collar for my 50 pound black lab. I get tons of compliments about how cute it is. It fits her great, adjusts easily, (but not too easily so the collar stays where you set it as far as length goes). The clasp is sturdy. Highly recommended.
UPDATE: This collar lasted all summer. Still works fine, but has faded from hours of long walks and frisbee in the summer sun (no more than any other collar we've ever had). Just had to purchase a replacement for my pup's Chrsitmas stocking because it's the cutest collar ever! Gets tons of compliments.

(More customer reviews)I got this collar because it was so easy to put on and adjust. I liked that it was a nice feeling rubbery plastic and came in fun colors. This collar is not exactly "Pet Safe" and not the collar for your dog if he pulls at all. We had the collar 3 months when our pup saw a flock of geese and chased towards them - and SNAP! - the collar broke and our dog was gone. Happily she came when I called her back, but I know it was a lucky day. Back to the leather buckle collar for us!
