(More customer reviews)Ordered this product after trying several other products, such as pendant-type (too fragile), passive reflectors (OK, but not lighted), and bright colors (not reflective).
"Toto" likes to go for walks (day or night) and we find ourselves walking Toto at night quite often. Our neighborhood is quite dark as there are no streetlights nearby, so the need is quite great.
I am so far very happy with this product, as it is extremely reflective to car headlights in the passive mode, and even more visible when the built-in flashing LED lights are activated.
The only negative I can say about this so far is that the lighted/reflective part of the collar is somewhat stiff and heavier, and tends to fall to the bottom/front. This causes the reflective part to become less visible. However, when a leash is attached, everything is OK again, as this brings the reflective portion to the top again, where it is more visible.
The price of this item was very reasonable, to boot.
No opinion yet on battery life, as I have used the collar only for two weeks so far.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this collar for anyone concerned about their dog being seen while outdoors.
